Job Description

CESTA SHIPPING PVT LTD is a leading player in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. With an extensive network and a commitment to excellence, we provide end-to-end solutions for our clients' import/export needs. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Overseas Coordinator to join our Sea Imports team and manage the import operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Sea Imports: Oversee the entire sea import process, including booking, tracking, and managing documentation for shipments.
  • Liaison with Overseas Agents: Serve as the primary point of contact between overseas agents and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sea import operations.
  • Manage Documentation: Handle all necessary documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL), Customs Declarations, Invoices, and Delivery Orders (DO).
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor the movement of goods, providing clients and internal stakeholders with regular updates on shipment status.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational problems that may arise during the sea import process, including delays or documentation errors.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all sea import processes comply with international trade regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as Overseas Co ordinator Sea Imports in a freight forwarding or logistics company.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of sea import procedures, including customs regulations, documentation, and international shipping.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with overseas partners, customers, and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple shipments at once with precision, ensuring all paperwork and procedures are correct.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly address operational challenges and find solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, including sales, operations, and finance.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
