Responsibilities :
BRM Operational Automation :- Develop and maintain operational scripts for automating routine tasks such as billing runs, invoicing, batch processing, and data migration.- Write shell scripts, Perl scripts, or Python programs to monitor and optimize system performance.System Monitoring and Support :- Monitor BRM application logs and performance metrics.- Provide Level 2/3 support for BRM system issues related to operations and batch jobs.Custom BRM Scripting :- Modify and enhance BRM policy and opcodes using PCM C or PCM Java for business-specific requirements.- Develop and maintain iScripts and grammar files for pipeline and real-time charging customizations.Billing Cycle Management :
- Coordinate and execute billing and revenue assurance operations.- Automate and troubleshoot billing runs and account reconciliation processes.System Integration :- Create operational scripts to handle data integrations between BRM and external systems (CRM, ERP, etc.).- Work on pipeline modules for real-time mediation and rating.Documentation & Best Practices :- Maintain documentation for all operational scripts and changes.- Adhere to coding and operational best practices for maintainability and scalability.Required Skills :
Technical Proficiency :- Strong skills in Unix/Linux shell scripting or Perl or Python or SQL- Experience with PCM C and PCM Java for BRM policy customizations.- Understanding of BRM architecture (Pipeline Manager, Pricing Center, and Infranet Utilities).Operational Knowledge :
- Deep knowledge of BRM operational processes, including billing cycles, invoicing, and event management.- Experience with tools like PDC (Pricing Design Center) and Elastic Charging Engine (ECE).Debugging & Optimization :
- Ability to troubleshoot BRM-related operational issues efficiently.- Expertise in optimizing batch jobs and overall system performance.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in telecom or subscription-based industries.- Knowledge of high-availability architecture and BRM disaster recovery planning.
