Job Title: Consultant / Developer Teamcenter Migration Projects Location: Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad Experience: 5-7 Years Type: Full-time | On-site / Hybrid Job Summary: We are looking for skilled and experienced Teamcenter Migration Consultants/Developers to join our growing team. The role involves working on complex migration projects from legacy systems and CAD platforms such as NX, CATIA, TC Enterprise, SAP, and Enovia into Siemens Teamcenter. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter migration tools , data cleansing and transformation , and custom scripting and automation , alongside excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Execute end-to-end Teamcenter migration projects from systems like NX, CATIA, TC Enterprise, SAP, and Enovia. Utilize Teamcenter migration tools including csv2tcxml, tcxml export/import, and IPS Upload. Perform detailed analysis, extraction, cleansing, and transformation of CAD and enterprise data. Configure and operate the Teamcenter Export/Import Admin Application , including setting up transfer modes and closure rules . Extend and maintain the Teamcenter Data Model using BMIDE and understand Teamcenter database schema and tables . Work on TC-CAD integrations such as TCIN (NX) or TCIC (CATIA) , and leverage applications like My Teamcenter, Structure Manager, Organization, Classification, and Projects. Develop and maintain custom utilities/scripts using SQL, Python, Java, XML, and Windows Batch scripting . Implement and customize batch utilities using Teamcenter ITK APIs . (Preferred) Work with NX Open APIs or CATIA API/CAT Script for advanced automation and validation. Conduct defect analysis , resolve migration-related issues, and ensure data integrity . Engage in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and documentation . Senior roles involve technical leadership , client communication, project planning, and mentoring junior team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in at least one major migration type : NX to Teamcenter CATIA to Teamcenter TC Enterprise to Teamcenter SAP/Enovia to Teamcenter Expertise in Teamcenter migration tools and custom migration development using ITK . In-depth understanding of Teamcenter Data Model, BMIDE, and database architecture . Proficiency in CAD integration setups , particularly TCIN and TCIC . Solid programming/scripting background: SQL, Python, Java, XML, Batch scripting . Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly. Soft Skills: Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability. Proactive mindset with a collaborative team spirit. Ability to work independently and manage timelines effectively. Adaptable and capable of handling dynamic client environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TCIN/TCIC configuration and optimization . Prior experience as a technical lead or migration architect . Background in enterprise PLM consulting and large-scale data migration initiatives.
