Network Administrator

As a Network Administrator at V-Guard Industries, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our core network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include administering enterprise-level network systems, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our network. You will be expected to configure and manage a variety of networking equipment such as Cisco switches and routers, HP Aruba switches, FortiGate, and Palo Alto firewalls. Your expertise in Unified Threat Management, IPS, and VPN services will be essential in maintaining the stability and reliability of our network. Independently handling network operations, upgrades, and maintenance activities will be part of your daily tasks. Implementing and managing SD-WAN solutions across branch locations and ensuring network security through proper configuration and regular audits will also be key responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business operations and IT initiatives will be necessary. Maintaining documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures, as well as providing technical support and guidance to internal teams when needed, will be crucial aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in network administration. Strong expertise in managing Cisco switches and routers, HP Aruba switches, FortiGate, and Palo Alto firewalls is required, along with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with SD-WAN technologies will be advantageous. Preferred certifications for this role include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) / Professional (CCNP), Fortinet NSE Certification, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), and Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA). This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location may involve being on the road.
