We are currently looking to hire an NDT Engineer with significant experience in Oil & Gas, Pipe Spool Fabrication, and Refinery projects. As an NDT Engineer, your main responsibilities will include carrying out inspections based on the inspection and test plan for Pipe Spool Fabrication. This will involve tasks such as material verification, fit-up checking, coating and blasting inspections, and reviewing procedures for quality assurance. You will also be responsible for assigning welding procedures, conducting welder training and qualification, as well as surveillance and checking during welding processes. Additionally, you will be involved in welding visual inspections, radiography/AUT marking, radiography film reviewing, and repair checking as needed. Your role will also include final clearance and certification through an online application system. In terms of knowledge base, you are required to have knowledge of ASME B 31.3, Chapter V and VI. Furthermore, you should have knowledge of common materials, including different grades of carbon steels, stainless steels, LAS steels, as well as welding consumables and welding procedure requirements as per ASME Sec IX. Your role will also involve welding inspection and acceptance, NACE Level II and Level III for coatings, NDE Level II, PWHT, and hardness checking as per ASME B 31.3. Familiarity with radiography/UT/PT/MPT inspection as per ASME B 31.3 is also necessary. To be considered for this position, you must hold a Certified NDT Certificate and have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Graduate Engineer. Alternatively, if you are a Diploma Engineer, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC functions of Refinery, Petrochemical, and Infrastructure projects.,
