The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing embedded software for point-of-care diagnostic devices. This position requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in embedded systems and software development. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test embedded software for point-of-care diagnostic devices. Collaborate with hardware engineers, scientists, and other team members to define software requirements and specifications. Implement software solutions that are efficient, reliable, and meet regulatory standards. Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded systems. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of embedded software. Ensure the software is compatible with various hardware platforms and interfaces. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Stay current with advancements in embedded software development and apply new technologies and techniques to improve existing products. Participate in code reviews, project planning, and continuous improvement processes. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
