About the Role:
Join our dynamic team of medical coding professionals at MedCode Services! We’re on the lookout for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who can accurately review and code patient diagnoses using ICD-10-CM for risk adjustment, all while staying compliant with CMS guidelines.

3rd Floor, Indian Express Building, Banerji Road, Kaloor, Ernakulam, Kerala – 682017

Work Schedule:

• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

(Shift based on business requirement)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM codes for HCC based on clinical documentation.
• Review and abstract information from medical records.
• Ensure adherence to CMS and internal coding guidelines.
• Participate in internal quality audits and apply feedback for continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with QA teams and supervisors to resolve coding discrepancies.

Skills & Expertise:

• Solid grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and documentation capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding for risk adjustment.
• Certified coders (CPC, CRC, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
• Candidates trained in medical coding are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.

Experience Level:

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in medical coding.
