Mechanical Design Engineer( AutoCAD & Sheet metal )

You will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D/3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD and other CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Inventor. Your tasks will involve designing sheet metal parts and assemblies including enclosures, panels, brackets, racks, and related hardware. Additionally, you will develop and release detailed fabrication drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and assembly instructions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, tolerances, and material specifications. To excel in this role, you should apply your knowledge of bending, laser cutting, punching, welding, and powder coating processes during the design phase. Collaboration with electrical, manufacturing, and procurement teams will be essential to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of your designs. You will conduct design reviews, incorporate feedback, and make revisions as needed to achieve project goals. Supporting prototype development and providing engineering assistance during fabrication and assembly processes will also be part of your responsibilities. It is crucial to maintain accurate design documentation and revision control using PLM/PDM systems.
