Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the

    go-to-market (GTM) strategy

    for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify and build relationships with

    key B2B clients

    in sectors such as solar EPC, telecom, commercial & industrial (C&I), microgrids, and EV infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams to design

    customer-centric solutions

    tailored to energy storage needs.
  • Lead the development of

    marketing collaterals, case studies, product presentations,

    and digital campaigns to drive visibility and lead generation.
  • Manage

    channel partnerships and dealer/distributor networks

    , ensuring proper training, engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Conduct

    market research, competitor benchmarking, and pricing analysis

    to refine product positioning and business strategy.
  • Represent the company at

    industry events, conferences, and webinars

    to promote brand awareness and product leadership in the energy storage space.
  • Track and analyze

    marketing KPIs

    including lead-to-conversion rates, campaign ROI, and regional performance metrics.
  • Support the

    sales and business development teams

    with high-quality inbound and outbound marketing support.
  • Collaborate with top management on

    strategic planning, product roadmap alignment

    , and market expansion initiatives.
  • Stay updated on

    industry trends, government policies, and new technologies

    relevant to BESS and energy storage ecosystems.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Experience: Minimum 3 years in marketing, business development, or sales within the battery, energy storage, UPS/inverter, or renewable energy sectors.

2) Industry Background: Power/Energy, Electrical Equipment, Renewable Energy, or Telecom Power Solutions.

3) Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or Business; MBA/PGDM preferred.

4) Skills: Strong B2B marketing and GTM strategy experience, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and a proven ability to drive business growth.

5) Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Ahmedabad.
