Manual Tester

You will be responsible for reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. With a minimum of 6 months of experience in manual software testing, you will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Additionally, you will estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs. It will be crucial for you to perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and to develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. As a quality assurance professional, you will liaise with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements. You will also monitor debugging process results, investigate the causes of non-conforming software, and train users to implement solutions. Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts, will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve applying your knowledge early in the software development process and working closely with developers to recognize potential operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues before the new software cycle is complete. To excel in this position, you must stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies. The ideal candidate profile includes proven work experience in software quality assurance, strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is preferred, and experience with performance and/or security testing is desirable. Good communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team. Candidates from locally nearby areas in Indore are preferred.
