Job Description – Robotic Maintenance Engineer Position: Robotic Maintenance Engineer Department: Maintenance/Automation Reporting To: Maintenance Manager/Engineering Lead Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic assembly equipment. Ensure equipment operates optimally to prevent breakdowns and extend service life. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose faults in robotic systems and perform corrective repairs. Troubleshoot PLC systems and resolve communication issues between multiple PLCs. 3. Vision System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot vision systems used for inspection and quality control on the assembly line. Ensure proper calibration and functioning to maintain product quality standards. 4. Drive Systems Maintenance Troubleshoot and maintain Siemens Drives and SEW Drives for optimal machine performance. Address drive faults to prevent line stoppages. 5. Sensing Devices Management Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various sensing devices to ensure accurate machine operation. Monitor sensors for accuracy, reliability, and safety compliance. 6. Electrical Hoists Maintenance Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical hoists used in the assembly process. Ensure safe and smooth operation, adhering to safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. 3–8 years of experience in robotic assembly line maintenance or industrial automation. Hands-on expertise in: PLC troubleshooting and communication networks. Siemens and SEW drive systems. Vision system maintenance and troubleshooting. Sensing device installation and calibration. Electrical hoist maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Additional Requirements: Adherence to all workplace safety and equipment standards. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to breakdown emergencies. Maintain detailed logs of maintenance work and troubleshooting steps. Ability to collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and optimize processes.
