You will be responsible for maintaining the company's computer systems, including installing and configuring hardware and software for all systems. Your primary duties will involve providing timely technical support as issues arise to ensure the smooth running of the company. Key Responsibilities: - Proficient in installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networking, printers, and scanners - Prior experience in technical support, firewall, and security maintenance across the company - Expert in monitoring, maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting computer systems, resolving network issues, and handling modems and routers - Responding in a timely manner to internal service issues and requests - Setting up workstations, usernames, passwords, email accounts, and firewall access for new joiners - Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary - Data archiving, system backups, retrieval, and transfer/exchange of data - Budgeting, purchasing new systems and hardware, and vendor management - Hands-on experience with Linux operating system installation and troubleshooting - Proactively preventing system breakdowns and failures Preferred Skills: - Technically proficient in Fortigate firewalls and Cyberroam - Good knowledge of version control systems like Git and repository hosting services like GitHub and Bitbucket - Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Understanding of advanced technologies such as cloud computing, automation tools, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and endpoint management solutions Personal Qualities: - Technical, logical thought process - Ability to troubleshoot complex problems - Analytical skills to uncover issues within configurations - Skilled in debugging applications and implementing upgrades - Adherence to strict deadlines and ability to prioritize critical system issues - Attention to detail and good communication skills This is a full-time position with benefits including internet reimbursement and paid sick time.
