Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 7 years of experience in the BFSI industry, preferably with SBL.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee legal matters related to mortgages and other financial products.
Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Provide legal advice and guidance on various banking-related matters.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal risks and liabilities.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in legal software and systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A graduate or postgraduate degree in law is required.
