Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join our team at Equitas Small Finance Bank. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in the BFSI industry, preferably with a background in Micro Finance or Legal roles.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and oversee all legal aspects of the bank's operations.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide expert legal advice on various matters, including contracts and agreements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to inform business decisions.
Ensure timely completion of all legal documentation and filings.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in managing and supervising legal teams is an added advantage.
