You will be the Lead Robotics Engineer responsible for spearheading our robotics and automation projects, overseeing the development of cutting-edge robotic systems from inception to implementation. Your primary role will involve leading diverse teams and establishing close partnerships with our EMS and manufacturing collaborators worldwide. Your focus will be on hands-on leadership, emphasizing robotics design, embedded systems, ROS, machine vision, and new product introduction (NPI) while maintaining a robust EMS interface. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and integrating collaborative robots, AMRs, and industrial robotic arms for automation purposes. - Developing control systems, motion planning, and real-time path planning by utilizing ROS/ROS2. - Driving firmware development through embedded C/C++ on STM32/PIC platforms. - Incorporating machine vision systems employing OpenCV/TensorFlow for defect detection and automation enhancements. - Leading NPI and lifecycle management throughout EVT to MP stages, ensuring DFM/DFA/DFT compliance. - Overseeing EMS partners for sourcing, BOM validation, and quality assurance procedures. - Supervising manufacturing test setup, jig design, and automation for end-of-life (EOL) testing. - Mentoring and guiding a diverse engineering team using agile methodologies. - Collaborating with international EMS vendors, including those located in China, Taiwan, and Eastern Europe.,
