UST is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to lead the development and support of business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of dashboard creation—from gathering requirements to deployment—while ensuring high performance, usability, and compliance. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and strong communication skills for engaging business stakeholders.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports across various business units.
Manage end-to-end BI development workflows, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-production support.
Administer Power BI services, including workspace management, gateway configuration, and capacity planning.
Work directly with business users to understand needs and deliver clear, insightful visualizations.
Optimize DAX expressions and data models for performance and scalability.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards within BI environments.
Provide ongoing technical support and training to business users on Power BI features and best practices.
Maintain documentation and implement version control using Git or similar tools.
6+ years of experience in BI development or data analytics, including 4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI.
Proficiency in developing Power BI reports, dashboards, DAX formulas, and working with Power BI services.
Advanced SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and optimization.
Experience in Power BI administration, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and business teams.
Strong troubleshooting and dashboard optimization capabilities.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
