Layout Designer

The Layout Designer position in the Design/Project Execution department at our Furniture industry located in Coimbatore is looking for a detail-oriented individual with 0.6-1 year of experience (Freshers with internship/project experience are also encouraged to apply). As a Layout Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate layouts, conducting site measurements, and collaborating closely with clients. An ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of space planning, basic civil/architectural knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Your responsibilities will include visiting client sites to gather precise measurements, creating detailed layout drawings using software such as AutoCAD/SketchUp, and adapting architectural drawings to project-specific requirements. You will work in coordination with project, sales, and execution teams to ensure layout feasibility and interact with clients to understand their space requirements, preferences, and provide suitable layout solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to make necessary revisions based on feedback, ensure that designs align with site conditions and client expectations, assist in site coordination during layout implementation, and maintain accurate records of measurements and revisions. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with prior experience in layout designing, site measurement, or interior design being a plus. Proficiency in layout and design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp, a good understanding of measurement tools and site conditions, strong spatial visualization skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and client handling skills are essential. Knowledge of furniture layouts, modular systems, or construction elements is desirable for this position.,
