Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Junior Engineer with hands-on experience in Vestas wind turbines (V27, V47 etc.) to support our growing O&M projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities, ensuring optimal turbine performance, and maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Vestas wind turbines.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults in turbines.
• Support in major component replacement and retrofit projects.
• Maintain service records and reports using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve turbine performance and availability.
• Assist in condition monitoring, vibration analysis, and remote diagnostics.
• Participate in root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Renewable Energy Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience working on Vestas wind turbines (e.g., V27, V47 series).
• Strong understanding of turbine systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic).
• Experience in handling SCADA-based monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Familiar with safety procedures related to working at height and confined spaces.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to travel to remote wind farm sites and work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):

• Vestas Authorizations (Level B/C – Electrical/Mechanical/Rescue Training)
• GWO (Global Wind Organization) certified in BST (Basic Safety Training)
• First Aid / Fire Safety / Working at Heights Certification
