Junior Accountant

Financial Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintaining financial records: This includes data entry, updating general ledgers, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. Preparing financial statements: Assisting with the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports. Generating reports: Creating reports on financial status, including income statements, operational cost breakdowns (salaries, benefits, etc.). Posting journal entries: Recording transactions and ensuring they are accurately reflected in the accounting system. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Managing accounts payable: Processing invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. Managing accounts receivable: Tracking customer invoices, following up on unpaid bills, and ensuring timely payments. Reconciling bank statements: Ensuring that bank statements match the company's records. Other Accounting Tasks: Assisting with audits: Providing documentation and support during audits. Performing month-end and year-end closings: Supporting the processes of closing the accounting period. Preparing payroll: Calculating payroll taxes and processing payroll payments. Supporting senior accountants: Assisting with various accounting projects and tasks. Ensuring compliance: Adhering to accounting policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
