Hypersonix.ai - Senior Python Developer - Django/Flask

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our development team.The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python, experience with web frameworks, API development, and a good understanding of database systems.You will be responsible for building robust, scalable backend systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications, services, and APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI to build scalable web services.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services and develop RESTful APIs.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver complete solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, and participate in agile development practices.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Proficiency in working with databases both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container/orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications (Good To Have)

• Experience with asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp).
• Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery).
• Knowledge of data processing, machine learning, or ETL pipelines
