As a Site Lead in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) at our wind farm in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh, you will be responsible for leading routine O&M activities, ensuring on-time booking of service orders and materials in ERP, releasing monthly site performance reports, achieving productivity and machine availability targets, maintaining ISO documentation standards, interacting with customers, promoting good HSE practices, managing spares for maintenance, ensuring availability of PPEs and tools, monitoring the wind farm via SCADA, and facilitating customer audits and visits. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Power Electronics Engineering from a renowned university/college, along with 10 to 15 years of operational experience in a large-scale industry involved in Wind turbines operations, preferably with OEM/IP. The work location will be at our site in Shajapur, Madhya Pradesh. You will be responsible for leading routine Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities of a wind farm with a minimum capacity of 50 MW. Your role will require proven leadership skills, a problem-solving approach, and effective stakeholder management. It is preferred that you have experience in O&M of DFIG technology wind turbines, specifically on platforms such as Inox, Suzlon, Gamesa, and Vestas. Your duties will include ensuring timely booking of service orders and materials in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, releasing monthly site performance reports, achieving productivity and machine availability targets, maintaining documents as per ISO requirements, and conducting regular communication with customers. You will also be responsible for implementing good Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices within the wind farm site, managing spare parts inventory for preventive and breakdown maintenance, ensuring availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools for maintenance activities, real-time monitoring of the wind farm via SCADA, and facilitating customer audits and visits to the site. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Power Electronics Engineering from a reputable university or college. You should have a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 15 years of operational experience in a large-scale industry involved in wind turbine operations, preferably with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Independent Power Producers (IPPs). The Manager - Quality at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited will act as an interface between the Head Office and project site, driving and implementing the organizational QA Policy and procedures across the project site. In this role, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring, implementing best Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices, and reporting to the management. Key responsibilities include ensuring the implementation of Sterlite Power Transmission Limited Quality Plans and Policy, supporting section managers, site engineers, and supervisors in communicating method statements and standard procedures to workers, monitoring the implementation of Quality Plans, raising non-conformances in case of any deviations found, facilitating Quality internal and external audits, and assisting the HSE head in compliance with non-conformities raised. You will also have the authority to suspend work in case of deviations in Field Quality plans and drawing requirements until corrective actions are taken. The position demands travel to project sites as and when required.
