Job Description

As the HR Manager at our organization in Kolhapur, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will be expected to manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, policy implementation, and ensure compliance with legal regulations. This strategic role requires you to serve as a partner to the management team to ensure that the workforce aligns with the organization's goals. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Recruitment & Staffing: - Leading the recruitment process from creating job descriptions to conducting interviews. - Developing talent acquisition and retention strategies. - Overseeing onboarding and orientation for new employees. 2. Employee Relations: - Acting as the main point of contact for employee-related concerns and conflict resolution. - Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. - Managing employee engagement programs. 3. Performance Management: - Designing and implementing performance management systems. - Supporting managers in setting employee goals and conducting appraisals. - Providing coaching and guidance for professional development. 4. Training & Development: - Identifying training needs and implementing development programs. - Managing internal and external training sessions. - Promoting continuous learning within the organization. 5. Policy Development & Compliance: - Ensuring HR policies and procedures comply with regulations. - Advising management on policy matters and legal implications. - Managing updates to the employee handbook and policy communications. 6. Compensation & Benefits: - Administering compensation and benefits programs. - Managing employee benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans. 7. HR Analytics & Reporting: - Monitoring HR metrics like turnover rates and employee satisfaction. - Using data to inform HR strategies and decisions. 8. Compliance & Safety: - Ensuring compliance with labour laws and employment standards. - Overseeing health and safety initiatives and managing workers" compensation claims. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) with at least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager. You must possess in-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labour regulations, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person during day shifts. A Professional in Human Resources certification is required.
