Head Operations

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of our HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) manufacturing business. This role requires strong operational expertise in areas including production, supply chain, procurement, project execution, and logistics, with a strategic mindset to drive efficiency, ensure timely delivery, maintain quality, and support business growth. The position reports to senior management and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Operations Planning:

  Formulate and implement operational strategies aligned with the companys HVAC business objectives, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.

• Manufacturing Oversight:

  Lead the production of HVAC components and systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards, minimizing downtime, and achieving timely delivery of customer orders.

• Supply Chain & Procurement Management:

  Oversee procurement of raw materials and components (like compressors, coils, sheet metal, electronics, etc.), vendor development, and supply chain planning to avoid disruptions.

• Inventory & Warehouse Optimization:

  Manage inventory control systems and warehouse operations to ensure optimum stock levels, material traceability, and space utilization.

• Project Execution Support:

  Collaborate with project and installation teams to ensure factory output aligns with customer-specific HVAC project timelines and configurations.

• Logistics & Distribution:

  Optimize product movement, outbound logistics, and route planning for HVAC units to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries across domestic and export markets.

• Cost & Budget Management:

  Prepare and monitor operational budgets, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and evaluate ROI for capital expenditure projects.

• Team Leadership:

  Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, and logistics; establish performance goals and drive team engagement.

• Performance Monitoring:

  Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across production efficiency, on-time delivery, scrap rates, and inventory turnover.

• Quality & Compliance:

  Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO, BIS, safety standards), enforce quality assurance protocols, and manage audits and certifications.

• Inter-Departmental Collaboration:

  Liaise with R&D, sales, marketing, and finance teams to align operational outputs with business requirements.

• Risk Mitigation & Business Continuity:

  Identify potential operational risks (e.g., supplier delays, production breakdowns) and implement contingency plans.

1. BE in engineering with 20+ years of experience in operations management preferably in the manufacturing of HVAC industry.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.4. In-depth knowledge of the HVAC industry and its operational challenges.5. Experience in Production , Quality , PPC , supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.6. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.7. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.10. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, supply chain management software).
