We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to help design and lay out our educational books and learning materials. This role involves working closely with curriculum developers, editors, and illustrators to transform content into compelling, easy-to-navigate print and digital materials.

Responsibilities:

Design page layouts for textbooks, workbooks, and teaching materials

Create visual assets: diagrams, infographics, icons, tables, and charts

Ensure consistent application of branding and educational style guides

Prepare files for print and digital distribution (including EPUB/PDF)

Collaborate with writers and editors to ensure visual clarity and alignment with learning objectives

Revise designs based on feedback from the editorial and academic team

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in book or educational design
• Strong proficiency in .Coral Draw,Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience in designing for print and digital formats
• Excellent typography, layout, and composition skills
• Ability to handle large documents with complex content structures
• Understanding of pedagogical principles and age-appropriate design
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG, dyslexia-friendly fonts)
• Familiarity with educational publishing standards (Common Core, NGSS, etc.)
• Experience in interactive or e-learning material design (e.g., HTML5, Canva for Education)
