Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer (Remote) Location: India (Remote) Company: Concept Dash Inc. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer with 2–3 years of relevant experience to join our remote team. This role involves contributing to diverse projects in Canada, including infrastructure, site development, and environmental assessments, while working remotely from India. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in geotechnical analysis, design, and consultation, with a focus on Canadian standards. Key Responsibilities Responsible for project management and delivery of geotechnical investigations and analysis for engineering studies for deep and shallow foundations (static, seismic, and dynamic machine loadings) Slope and earth structure stability, tailings dams, hydrogeology studies, stormwater control facilities, in-situ testing using software (e.g., GeoStudio, Plaxis) Deliver Geotechnical Services for Linear Infrastructure Projects (roads, railways, pipelines) and Site Development Projects (residential, commercial, industrial) Lead Environmental Site Assessments (ESA Phase 1 and 2) and remediation strategies Design Pavement Structures and develop Mix Designs for concrete/asphalt Oversee Materials Testing Services (soil, concrete, asphalt) and interpret results Perform Structural Design elements for foundations, retaining walls, and embankments Design Deep Foundations (Pile Design) and Shoring Systems for excavations Provide Geotechnical & Hydrogeological Consultation for groundwater, drainage, and erosion control Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications compliant with CSA, OBC, and MTO standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams using digital tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety protocols Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred) 2–3 years of hands-on geotechnical engineering experience Experience and knowledge with geotechnical engineering and drilling, settlement analyses, slope stability assessments and concrete and compaction testing, and pile/shoring design would be an asset Knowledge of standard geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, Plaxis or other similar software suites would be an asset Experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports Working knowledge of Canadian regulations would be an asset Experience in pavement/mix design Knowledge of Canadian codes/standards (CSA, OBC, MTO) is an asset Ability to effectively and efficiently problem-solve, tackle new assignments, and multi-task in a busy work environment Commitment to a consistently high level of quality client service Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform detailed analysis in various software programs Previous consulting experience is an asset Excellent English communication skills for remote collaboration Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety Preferred Qualifications Experience working with international/remote teams Exposure to Ontario’s geotechnical, geological, and regulatory environment Why Join Us?
