Job Summary:

We’re searching for a Front-End Engineer to help craft and refine our user-facing applications. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll contribute to core projects, streamline performance, and ensure exceptional experience across multiple devices. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and back-end teams to deliver impactful solutions for a global audience—right from our India-based engineering hub. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development & Implementation

   
• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI components using modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. 
• Implement user-friendly, interactive interfaces by collaborating with UI/UX designers. 
•  Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across different devices. 
• Work with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Zustand, MobX, etc.) to manage frontend application state. 
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs efficiently. 

• Code Quality & Best Practices

   
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following coding standards. 
• Participate in code reviews, learning from feedback and contributing to peer improvements. 
• Follow front-end architectural guidelines, ensuring scalability and maintainability. 
• Use version control tools like Git, GitHub, and GitLab for collaborative development. 

• Performance Optimization & Testing

   
• Identify and resolve UI performance bottlenecks, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions. 
• Implement basic frontend testing using tools like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library. 
• Follow best practices for lazy loading, asset optimization, and code splitting. 

• Collaboration & Agile Development

   
• Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. 
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). 
• Document frontend implementations to help onboard new developers and support cross-team collaboration. 

• Continuous Learning & Growth

   
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. 
• Experiment with new technologies and contribute to the technical evolution of the team. 
• Take initiative in self-learning, attending tech talks, and engaging with the developer community. 

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:

   
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). 
• 2+ years of professional front-end development experience. 

• Technical Expertise:

   
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end technologies. 
• Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). 
• Knowledge of frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite). 
• Familiarity with state management (Redux, Vuex, or Context API). 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket). 
• Good grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. 
• Experience with API integration (RESTful and GraphQL). 

• Soft Skills & Communication:

   
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, backend developers, and product teams. 
• Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to take ownership of tasks. 
• Open to learning and feedback, with a growth mindset. 
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly. 

• Bonus Points:

   
• Experience with TypeScript or other strongly typed JavaScript variants. 
• Exposure to design systems (e.g., Material, Ant Design) and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch). 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Contributions to open-source projects or community events. 

Job Location & Schedule:

• This job is an onsite job at Logile’s Bhubaneswar Office 
• Some overlap with U.S. or other international time zones may be required to support our global customers as needed.
