Job Description

Key responsibilities of a Front Office Assistant

include welcoming and assisting guests with check-in and check-out, providing information, and handling special requests. They manage front desk operations such as answering calls, addressing guest concerns, and maintaining the front desk area. Processing reservations and assigning rooms are also part of the role. Front Office Assistants communicate with guests, provide concierge services, handle cash transactions, and maintain financial records. They are responsible for adhering to safety and security procedures and collaborating with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

Essential skills for a Front Office Assistant include strong communication, customer service, and organizational abilities. Problem-solving skills are necessary for handling guest issues. Technical skills, such as familiarity with hotel management software, are also important. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, adaptability, and professionalism. A Degree / diploma in BMS or B Com is required.
