As the Head of the Technical Department - Drones, your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end engineering and manufacturing operations, including Research & Development (R&D), Production, and Quality Assurance. This leadership position is crucial for developing cutting-edge UAV systems, drone assembly, and integrating electronics and embedded systems. Key Responsibilities: Research & Development (R&D) - Lead the R&D team in designing drone hardware and software. - Supervise the development of flight controllers, power systems, and communication modules. - Ensure the functional integration of embedded systems, sensors, and onboard components. - Drive prototyping, performance testing, and technology innovation. Production Management - Oversee drone manufacturing and assembly line setup. - Implement scalable and cost-effective production processes. - Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams for component sourcing. - Ensure timely production with minimal defects. Quality Assurance & Compliance - Define and enforce quality standards across production batches. - Implement QA processes, failure mode analysis, and product audits. - Ensure compliance with relevant UAV industry regulations and certifications. - Lead hardware testing, software validation, and documentation processes. Team & Project Leadership - Manage technical teams across R&D, production, and QA. - Coordinate project timelines, resources, and reporting to management. - Foster cross-functional collaboration and performance review cycles. - Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories for continuous improvement. Requirements: - Education: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Robotics, or related field. - Experience: 8-15 years in drone technology, UAV systems, or electronics hardware roles with 4+ years in leadership. - Proven experience in drone system design, embedded hardware/software, and production oversight. - Strong technical understanding of UAV components, embedded firmware, power electronics, CAD tools, and flight controllers. Nice to Have: - Prior experience in a drone startup or consumer tech brand. - Understanding of aviation safety norms and UAV licensing requirements. - Exposure to IoT, AI, or computer vision integration in drones.,

Design and develop embedded hardware systems for drones and smart cable solutions. Develop circuit schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad. Select and integrate sensors, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, etc.), and RF modules. Test and validate embedded hardware in lab and field environments. Coordinate with software/firmware engineers for complete product integration. Work on EMI/EMC-compliant designs suitable for industrial applications.
