Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong expertise and knowledge in Product engineering & Tool development for Sheet Metal products.
Hands on experience in 3D modelling in Solid works Sheet metal
Hands on experience in 2D drafting
Responsible for Preparation of BOMs & Shop Drawings viz., Cutting, machining & Sub assembly drawings.
Candidate should have hands-on experience in designing of Sheet metal fabricated products.
Design review and documentation and preparation of detailed product specifications.
Coordinating with External & Internal customer for Continuous development in Existing Products.
Attending Design related Issues with Customer.
Handling Inspection and Customer approval.
Prototype development and Day to day follow up of Development activities.
Maintenance of records & documents pertaining to Design documentation and customer correspondence.
Vendor development for critical parts & Tooling.
Coordinating Third party type tests and conducting Design Endurance tests In-house.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with hands-on experience in Sheet metal Products Engineering & Development, Process knowledge, 3D sheet metal part modelling and assembling, 2D drafting is preferred
