Engineer - Quality

Quality Inspector / QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee

  in-process and final quality checks

  during machine and sub-assembly manufacturing.
• Inspect

  heavy machining jobs

  to ensure compliance with

  engineering drawings

  and

  technical specifications

  .
• Perform

  machine alignment testing

  to verify dimensional accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Handle and maintain

  precision measuring instruments

  such as

  bore gauges, micrometers, height gauges, Vernier calipers

  , and other

  metrology tools

  .
• Verify machining parameters including

  tolerances, surface finish, dimensions, and alignment

  .
• Document and report

  non-conformities

  , recommend corrective actions, and support

  root cause analysis

  .
• Ensure adherence to

  quality standards

  like ISO, GD&T, and company-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with production, design, and assembly teams to address quality concerns.
  

Key Skills & Tools:

• Precision Measurement Tools:

  Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Dial Indicator, Surface Finish Tester, CMM (preferred)

• Inspection Knowledge:

  In-process Inspection, Final Inspection, Dimensional Verification, Surface Finish Evaluation

• Documentation:

  NCRs, QC Reports, Inspection Checklists

• Technical Proficiency:

  Reading Engineering Drawings, GD&T, Tolerances, Alignment Testing

• Software:

  MS Excel, ERP/QMS systems (optional: SAP, KEKA)

• Soft Skills:

  Attention to Detail, Communication, Problem-solving, Team Collaboration
