Job Description

Network Management

Set up, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks at head office and solar sites.
Manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
Coordinate with internet service providers and ensure uptime at remote sites.
Maintain real-time data connectivity between solar sites and central monitoring systems (SCADA or EMS platforms).

IT Asset Management

Maintain accurate inventory of all IT hardware and software assets (laptops, desktops, servers, printers, CCTV, etc.).
Setup of laptops and desktops with softwares and end-point security.
Maintain Data backup and Active directory setup in the organisation.
Oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
Ensure assets at remote sites are tagged, tracked, and functioning as per standards.

Site IT Support

Provide on-site and remote IT support to site teams for system, connectivity, or hardware issues.
Coordinate setup of IT infrastructure during commissioning of new solar plants.
Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols at remote installations.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and IT policies.
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external audit requirements.

Coordination & Travel

Liaise with vendors, OEMs, and service providers for IT support and AMC services.
Travel to solar sites (primarily Maharashtra locations) across India for audits, installations, or troubleshooting (approx. 20–30% of the time).
