Job Description

1.) Liasoning With the Government Related activities and looking the BEE, PAT, MeSERC Regulation

2.) Power Purchase obligation & its compliance and handling the MePDCL 132kV Line Maintenance.

3.) Handling activities related to 132kV MRSS and Power monitoring and record keeping.

4.) Knowledge of Energy Management System.

5.) Must be a certified energy manager.

6.) Knowledge of SAP is must.

7.) Knowledge and understanding of ISO Integrated management systems and expert in ISO 50001 (EnMS) implementation.

8.) Must have hands-on experience on Relay Setting and configuration of MCC and PCC Breakers specially Micom and other make Relays.

9.) Engineering, Operation & Maintenance, Documentation, Configuration, Commissioning, testing of Electrical Equipments like Motors, LRS, MCC Panels, PCC Panels, Transformers, Capacitors and Automatic power factor controllers etc.

10.) Operation and maintenance of ESP Transformers, controllers and ESP system.

11.) Transformer maintenance and Transformer charging and changeover scheme.

12.) Fault finding and troubleshooting of Electrical Control Circuit and must have root cause analysis skill.

13.) Erection, supervision control & power schematic checking of LT & HT switchgear/panel system

14.) Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of all switch gears, LT and HT motors and installation and commissioning.

15.) Must have hands-on experience in inventory management and indenting process through SAP.

16.) To lead, manage, and develop the department employees to achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all departmental activities.

17.) Maintain the general discipline of the Employees and staff in the Department.

18.) To motivate employees to complete the assigned task within specified time.

19.) Propose new modification for smooth operation of plant, increasing production, energy saving etc. in consultation with plant head.

20.) Organize training programmes on topics of relevance and importance to the department to enrich the skills of employees.

21.) To ensure all essential resource material is available for use as required.

22.) Carry out any other function as assigned by the HOD.

23.) Predictive, preventive, opportunity and routine maintenance of E&I equipment by the team.

24.) To ensure smooth operation of Plant from E&I Equipment.

25.) Maintaining documentation of E&I department with the help of subordinates.

26.) Manpower management of department and ensuring inventory in store for critical equipment.

27.) Reducing maintenance costs of department by implementing predictive and preventive maintenance.

28.) Shutdown planning, job distribution and making availability of spares.

29.) Timely completion of shutdown jobs with the help of team members.
