Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) , control schematics , and wiring diagrams independently. • Plan and allocate daily work to wiring and assembly teams based on production schedules. • Monitor, supervise, and guide shop floor workers to ensure timely and quality completion of panel assemblies. • Maintain and update daily production records and progress reports. • Guide and assist Quality Control (QC) personnel with technical queries during inspection and testing. • Conduct and manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of LV panels independently. • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, client specifications, and safety protocols. • Coordinate with design, planning, and procurement teams to ensure smooth workflow and resource availability. • Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor related to wiring, assembly, or panel integration. Candidate Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Production Engineering . • 7–8 years of hands-on experience in LV panel production , preferably in a panel builder factory . • Strong knowledge of drawout and fixed panel types , control circuits, and wiring practices. • Experience in handling PMCC, MCC, PCC, PDB, MLDBs , and JBs . • Familiarity with busduct assembly and integration is a plus. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Good communication and documentation skills. • Proficient in MS Office and basic production tracking tools. Preferred Attributes: • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Understanding of IEC/IS standards applicable to panel manufacturing. • Proven ability to handle customer inspections and FAT independently. Job Description: We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing to ensure adherence to quality standards across incoming materials, in-process production, and final inspections. Key Responsibilities: Conduct incoming material inspections as per defined parameters and specifications Perform in-process and final inspections of LV switchboards (MCC, PCC, PMCC) and bus ducts Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards during panel assembly, wiring, and testing Document inspection reports including IIR, IPIS, FIR, Torque & IR Test records Raise and track NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely resolution through CAPA Collaborate with production and design teams to address quality issues and suggest improvements Maintain calibration and inspection records for tools, instruments, and test equipment Support ISO and other quality audits with proper documentation and process controls Ensure marking, labeling, and wiring meet design drawings and client specifications Train technicians on quality standards, inspection techniques, and safety protocols Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering 3–4 years of experience in QC for electrical panels or switchgear manufacturing Knowledge of quality inspection procedures, test instruments, and standards (IS/IEC) Good communication and reporting skills Familiarity with Google Sheets, MS Excel, and documentation processes
