Role & responsibilities

Details of Responsibilities and Authority

On Time Delivery & Score Card follow up
Customer Relationship buildup.
Coordinate with drivers and other departments to plan efficient routes
Monitor and optimize logistics processes and workflows
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during dispatch operations
Maintain and update records related to dispatch and delivery activities
Analyse data to assess performance and suggest improvements
Prepare reports on logistics performance and costs for management review
Implement safety measures and protocols for transport operations
Train and supervise dispatch staff to enhance team performance
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes.
Analyse supply chain data to identify and forecast potential issues.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Ensure compliance with supply chain standards and regulations.
Support the supply chain manager in day-to-day operations.
Use software tools to manage logistics and track shipments.
Provide regular reports on production status, including KPI performance and bottleneck issues
