Job Title: SRE / DevOps Senior Principal Engineer / Architect

Experience Required:

7+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for large-scale

  eCommerce platforms

  .
• Design, implement, and monitor

  Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

  practices including

  SLIs/SLOs

  , proactive alerting, incident response, and RCA.
• Lead 24/7 on-call rotations with ownership of system reliability, mitigation, and resolution of P0/P1 incidents.
• Define and implement

  infrastructure as code (IaC)

  using

  Terraform

  ,

  Ansible

  ,

  ARM templates

  , or

  Packer

  .
• Manage and scale Linux-based systems and cloud-native services in

  Microsoft Azure

  .
• Automate deployment and release pipelines using

  Jenkins

  ,

  Azure DevOps

  ,

  GitHub Actions

  , and

  ArgoCD

  .
• Integrate and manage observability tools like

  Prometheus

  ,

  Grafana

  ,

  Azure Monitor

  , or

  New Relic

  .
• Collaborate with platform, application, and security teams to design resilient, compliant, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
• Forecast capacity needs based on usage patterns and ensure proactive scaling.
• Conduct infrastructure audits, chaos testing, and runbook maintenance.
• Ensure

  disaster recovery (DR)

  and

  business continuity

  strategies are implemented and tested.
• Design and build distributed systems with attention to security, performance, and maintainability.
• Implement

  self-healing systems

  to minimize MTTR (Mean Time To Recovery).

Technical Skillset:

• Cloud Platforms:

  Microsoft Azure (Certified Solutions Architect/Admin preferred)

• Languages & OS:

  Linux, Python

• Databases & Messaging:

  Kafka, Aerospike, MongoDB Atlas, In-memory databases

• Containerization:

  Kubernetes (K8s)

• Networking:

  DNS, routing, NAT, subnetting

• Security Tools:

  WAF, DDoS protection, Azure Front Door

• Automation & Monitoring:

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, New Relic

Leadership & Governance:

• Provide architectural leadership and technical mentorship to engineering teams.
• Drive adherence to governance frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and team productivity.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in

  eCommerce product/platform development

  is highly desirable.
