As a Senior Java Developer at Hyland Software, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance of our products by leveraging your expertise in software engineering. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, maintaining, testing, and evaluating software to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that align with established standards. Your tasks will involve developing intricate code based on functional specifications, conducting thorough analysis to translate software requirements into design specifications, and performing complex peer code reviews to ensure adherence to requirements. You will be expected to test the code rigorously, create and apply automated tests, and contribute to the implementation of a delivery pipeline that includes test automation, security, and performance enhancements. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will also be required to provide technical guidance to team members, participate in planning and work estimation, and mentor and coach other team members. Your ability to collaborate effectively, communicate professionally, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Java programming, along with proficiency in technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Clean Coding, TDD, Object Orienting, SOLID principles, relational databases, CI/CD, and containerization. Experience with cloud and microservice architecture, data structures, algorithms, software design, continuous software delivery, and test automation tools will be highly beneficial.
