Desktop Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Field Service Operations: Attend client locations for breakdown, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for computer hardware and networking systems. Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently to minimize client downtime. Perform preventive maintenance and ensure systems are functioning optimally. Client Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction with the services provided. Build strong relationships with clients by offering ongoing support and technical advice. Business Development: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional hardware, software, or networking solutions to existing clients. Suggest improvements or new technologies that can enhance client infrastructure and drive business growth. Coordination and Reporting: Collaborate closely with other resident engineers and backend coordinators to ensure smooth handling of service calls and client requirements. Provide accurate and timely reports on service visits, repairs, and additional client needs. Ensure that all service tickets are properly closed and documented in the system. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, services provided, and hardware or networking equipment used. Follow company policies and ensure compliance with industry standards during repairs and installations. Technical Skills Development: Stay updated with the latest technology trends in computer hardware and networking. Continuously improve technical skills to provide cutting-edge solutions to clients. Additional Responsibilities Must be willing to travel for onsite client visits. Valid driver’s license
