Design Engineer

Education & Profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with CAD/CAE tools in mechanical product design — especially AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Core Responsibilities
• Lead mechanical system and component design using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Utilize engineering simulation tools: FEA (ANSYS, ProMechanica), CFD, and other CAE/CAM software to validate designs.
• Manage product lifecycle from concept development to manufacturing handover using PLM systems. (
• Apply mathematical computing tools — MATLAB, Excel, and LabVIEW — for analysis and performance optimization.
• Conduct core engineering assessments: mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science.
• Create technical drawings and geometric dimensioning with high precision.
• Implement quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to ISO or equivalent standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and maintain rigorous documentation of design decisions and revisions.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD & SolidWorks — essential for daily design tasks.
• Experience with engineering simulation tools – FEA, CFD, or equivalent CAE solutions.
• Familiarity with PLM systems for integrated product lifecycle workflows.
• Competence in mathematical computing (MATLAB, Excel, LabVIEW).
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, technical drawing, and QC skills.
• Clear and effective technical communication, both verbal and written.
