Depot Manager

Ensuring timely supplies of right quality and quantity without any delays is crucial for maintaining Marketing Profitability. You will be responsible for coordinating with both internal and external customers to meet the full demand. This involves working closely with Vadinar for day-to-day stock transfer requirements and maintaining optimal inventory levels at the Depot. It is essential to ensure proper upkeep of the Depot and conduct preventive maintenance of plant and equipment to avoid any disruptions in operations due to equipment failures. Additionally, you will be coordinating with Transporters to ensure the placement of quality Tanker Trucks (TTs) as per projected requirements and monitoring fleet performance for optimal utilization. You will also be involved in branding TTs, providing proper training to TT crew, and overseeing day-to-day stock accounting and control to meet set targets. Furthermore, ensuring 100% statutory compliance, including adherence to the Factory Act, legal metrology, PCB regulations, and explosives regulations, is a key aspect of this role. Your responsibilities will include meeting the full demand of the Sales Team by executing indents in a timely manner and ensuring there is no backlog. Quality and quantity checks before dispatching loads are essential, along with maintaining error-free density in invoices and following quality control procedures. Safety of operations is paramount, requiring regular training of TT crew and contract manpower, branding TTs, and complying with safety norms and regulations. Maintaining proper personal protective equipment (PPE) for all staff, availability of equipment spares, and financial discipline are also part of your duties. Coordinating with Transporters for fleet requirements, stock transfers, and resolving IT/SAP issues, as well as working closely with the Sales Team for timely execution of indents, are crucial for smooth operations. Regular preventive maintenance of equipment, proper housekeeping, monitoring and controlling stock loss, ensuring error-free invoicing, budgetary control, and timely renewal of statutory licenses are all part of your responsibilities.
