Job Description

Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support business decision-making.
Design, build, and implement
machine learning models
and
predictive analytics
solutions.
Work with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and define data science use cases.
Translate business problems into analytical models and interpret the results for non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure scalable data pipelines and robust data infrastructure.
Conduct
A/B testing
,
hypothesis testing
, and
statistical analysis
to validate models and solutions.
Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate results using tools like
Power BI
,
Tableau
, or
Dash
.
Ensure data quality, data governance, and ethical use of AI/ML models.
Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 to 7 years of experience in
data science
,
machine learning
, or
advanced analytics
.
Proficiency in
Python
or
R
for data analysis and modeling.
Strong knowledge of machine learning libraries such as
scikit-learn
,
TensorFlow
,
Keras
,
XGBoost
, etc.
Solid understanding of
statistics
,
probability
, and
data mining
techniques.
Experience with
SQL
and working with relational databases.
Hands-on experience with big data technologies like
Spark
,
Hadoop
, or
Databricks
is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as
AWS
,
Azure
, or
Google Cloud Platform
.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
Experience in deploying models to production (MLOps) using tools like
MLflow

Kubeflow
, or
Airflow
.
Domain knowledge in
finance
,
healthcare
,
retail
, or
telecom
is a plus.
Experience with
deep learning

NLP
, or
computer vision
projects is desirable.
