Data Analyst

As a Data Analytics and Data Science Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs aimed at professionals seeking to enhance their skills in data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning. Your role will involve combining technical expertise with exceptional teaching abilities to create engaging learning experiences that effectively translate complex concepts into practical skills. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and delivering training courses that cover a range of topics such as data analytics, statistics, data visualization, and machine learning. You will be tasked with creating hands-on exercises, projects, and assessments to reinforce learning outcomes, as well as adapting training content and delivery methods to cater to different learning styles and skill levels. It will be essential for you to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field of data science and analytics, evaluate training effectiveness based on participant feedback, and provide mentorship and guidance to learners beyond formal training sessions. Collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure the technical accuracy of training materials, as well as developing supplementary learning resources like documentation, guides, and reference materials, will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should have at least 3 years of practical experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of developing and delivering technical training. Strong programming skills in Python or R, with a focus on data analysis libraries, are required, as well as experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and machine learning frameworks. Excellent communication and presentation skills will be crucial in explaining complex concepts clearly, and knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques is preferred. Experience with learning management systems and virtual training delivery platforms will also be beneficial. Preferred skills for this role include industry certifications in data science, analytics, or machine learning, experience in mentoring junior data professionals, knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI, experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark, and a background in a specific industry vertical like finance, healthcare, or retail.
