Role & responsibilities 1. KRI Management & Reporting The Operational Risk Analyst KRI Reporting is responsible for the design, collection, analysis, and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to support the organization’s operational risk management framework. The role provides timely and actionable risk insights through accurate tracking of KRIs, enhancing the effectiveness of risk monitoring and mitigation strategies. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust suite of KRIs across operational risk areas (people, process, systems, and external events). Regularly monitor and update KRI thresholds and ensure alignment with the organizations risk appetite. Prepare and distribute periodic KRI dashboards and risk reports to key stakeholders, including Risk Committees and Senior Management. Ensure timely escalation of any breaches in risk thresholds. 2. Data Collection & Validation Collaborate with business units and data owners to source accurate and timely data for KRI calculation. Perform data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of KRI data. 3. Risk Analysis Identify emerging trends or risk concentrations based on KRI trends and analysis. Support root cause analysis for abnormal risk metrics and recommend remedial actions. 4. Stakeholder Collaboration Work with operational units to embed KRI awareness and drive risk-informed decision-making. Support risk workshops and awareness sessions as needed. 5. Governance & Documentation Maintain documentation related to KRI methodologies, sources, thresholds, and review cycles. Assist in audits, regulatory reviews, and internal risk assessments as required.
