Job Summary:

Compliance Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines that affect the company’s operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and training.
• Support internal investigations of compliance issues and help prepare reports and documentation.
• Coordinate and deliver employee compliance training programs.
• Prepare and file required compliance reports with regulatory agencies.
• Assist with regulatory examinations and internal or external audits.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure compliance standards are integrated into business operations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or a related area (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, SEC, FINRA, etc.—as applicable).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management systems.
