Job Description

Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and ocular health.
Diagnose and manage a range of visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
Prescribe and fit corrective lenses or contact lenses as needed.
Identify eye health issues such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and preventive measures.
Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of services provided.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the optometry field.
Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with patients to ensure satisfaction.
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited School of Optometry.
Valid optometry license in the state of practice.
Proven experience working as an optometrist, preferably in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of ocular diseases, conditions, and treatment options.
Excellent clinical skills in conducting eye examinations and vision tests.
Proficiency in prescribing corrective lenses and treatment plans.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills.
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
