Job Description

As a Category Manager at INTERVAL, you play a crucial role in managing operations across admissions, academics, and client experience. You ensure smooth processes, coordinate teams, and drive data-informed decisions to optimize the learner journey from lead generation to placement. Your leadership helps achieve business goals, maintain quality, and support growth. RESPONSIBILITIES : ● Lead end-to-end operations, sales, and marketing efforts for the ISOFS project across all centres. ● Manage and align with key stakeholders, including the Centre Head, Faculty Head, Placement Officer, and Admin Associate. ● Conduct periodic centre visits to monitor performance, ensure SOP compliance, and provide operational support. ● Track and improve performance across admissions, academic execution, placement outcomes, and administrative processes. ● Coordinate faculty scheduling, monitor academic delivery quality, and troubleshoot on-ground challenges. ● Ensure timely fee collection, collaborate with the finance team, and track key metrics like TAR. ● Define and review KPIs, evaluate team performance, and lead upskilling initiatives. ● Build and maintain employer networks to support student placement. ● Support brand-building through testimonials, events, success stories, and student referrals. ● Identify project risks and take decisive corrective actions when needed. QUALIFICATIONS: ● Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations, category management, or a related leadership role, preferably in the education or skilling sector ● Proven experience in managing sales, operations, and marketing for educational or training projects. ● Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multi-role teams across centres. ● Familiarity with academic operations, placement coordination, and SOP-driven workflows. ● Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Malayalam is mandatory ● Knowledge of Kannada and Tamil is an added advantage. ● Data-oriented with a solid understanding of performance tracking and reporting. ● Experience with CRM tools, educational platforms, and performance dashboards is a plus.
