Position Summary: The Business Development Manager will be critical in driving growth by securing staffing contracts with the US federal clients. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional with a proven record of selling staffing services to US government agencies and contractors. Candidates with existing contracts or a proven book of business that can be transitioned immediately will be given top priority and can start contributing from their first week . Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new US federal government client opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and leveraging existing contacts. Leverage existing US federal contracts or relationships to generate immediate revenue opportunities upon joining. Develop and execute effective business development strategies tailored to the unique requirements of federal agencies and prime contractors. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement officers, and program managers within government organizations. Conduct on-site and virtual meetings to understand client staffing needs and offer customized solutions that align with federal procurement guidelines. Negotiate and secure service agreements, contracts, and task orders with new and existing clients. Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, managing all sales activities using CRM systems or similar tools. Collaborate closely with internal recruitment teams to ensure successful and compliant candidate placements. Attend federal contracting events, industry conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and expand your contact base. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with the company's revenue objectives. Qualifications: Proven success in B2B sales, preferably with a focus on the US staffing or recruiting industry, targeting US federal clients. Demonstrated experience in winning and managing US federal staffing contracts (candidates with existing contracts will be prioritized). Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Exceptional ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals independently. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
