  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in leading Business Development teams and managing high-volume B2B Enterprise Sales.

Going beyond traditional sales support, this role encompasses leadership in business development, sales enablement, marketing innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the go-to-market strategy, optimizing sales processes, and delivering consistent value to our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Sales Strategy & Market Alignment

·        Plan and execute sales strategies based on market dynamics and competitor analysis.

·        Stay updated on industry benchmarks, emerging business trends, and competitive landscapes to inform decision-making.

2.     Product & Solution Alignment

·        Collaborate with the product development team to design sustainable and commercially viable offerings.

·        Ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.

3.     Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

·        Understand client requirements and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs.

·        Build and maintain long-term, trust-based customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

4.     Sales Enablement & Proposal Development

·        Prepare customized sales proposals and ensure alignment with business objectives.

·        Provide training and support to inside sales representatives to ensure consistency in pitch and delivery.

5.     Lead Generation & Inside Sales Management

·        Lead the complete inside sales lifecycle for Indian operations, ensuring performance is aligned with company goals.

·        Develop and manage lead generation strategies through client referrals, networks, and partnerships.

6.     Marketing & Demand Generation Collaboration

·        Work closely with the marketing team to execute demand-generation initiatives such as trade shows, webinars, and client workshops.

·        Align pre-sales activities with broader business development and marketing strategies.

7.     Stakeholder Collaboration & Sales Planning

·        Partner with leadership to understand changing sales demands and workforce planning needs.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of pre-sales with broader sales and business development efforts.

8.     Leadership & Team Development

·        Manage, mentor, and coach a team of pre-sales executives with clear performance metrics.

·        Design and deliver regular training programs to enhance pre-sales productivity and consistency.

·        Foster a performance-oriented, collaborative team culture focused on results and accountability.

9.     Sales Pipeline

·        Build a strong pipeline of leads and potential clients through active market engagement.

·        Promote the company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract top-tier partnerships.

·        Represent the brand at expos, trade fairs, and industry networking events.

10. Pre-Sales Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration

·        Ensure seamless integration of sales efforts across Business Development, Marketing, and Operations.

·        Collaborate with stakeholders on engagement strategies and performance enhancements.

·        Drive a high-performance culture rooted in inclusion, continuous learning, and collaboration.

11. Reporting & Analytics

·        Track key performance metrics (KPIs) including conversion rates, ROI, and lead response times.

·        Generate actionable dashboards and insights for leadership decision-making.

·        Leverage analytics for continuous optimization of pre-sales and business development strategies.

12. Process Optimization & Compliance

·        Evaluate and refine pre-sales tools, systems, and workflows for enhanced efficiency.

·        Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all sales activities.

·        Identify automation opportunities to improve sales outcomes and stakeholder experience.
