Job Title: Territory Sales Executive – Food Services Channel Department: Sales Reports To: Area Sales Manager Experience: 2–4 years in Food Services / FMCG sales Education: Graduate / Post-Graduate (Preferred: MBA or equivalent) Role Objective: To drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory by developing a robust distribution network, ensuring market execution excellence, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and on-ground execution to meet the company's business objectives in the Food Services channel. Key Responsibilities Sales & Distribution Drive Primary Sales by developing a channel partner network and meeting the territory’s reach and penetration goals. Drive Secondary Sales by: Increasing the number of Food Service (FS) outlets Ensuring high service levels Promoting range selling of the assigned categories Maintaining commercial hygiene and compliance in the territory Market Execution & Reporting Prepare and execute day-wise Market Execution Plans (MJP) Submit weekly sales and execution reports to the Area Sales Manager Provide insights and ground-level inputs for trade promotions and local activations Demand Planning & Analytics Analyze primary and secondary sales trends Identify sales gaps and forecast demand for accurate planning Share territory-level insights with the Area Sales Manager for strategic planning Stakeholder & Partner Coordination Engage with Distributors (DBs) for stock conversion and timely deliveries Conduct real-time follow-ups with DBs to ensure stock movement Coordinate with the Finance team for resolving pricing issues, account reconciliations, and claim settlements Critical Success Factors Graduate/Post-Graduate with 2–4 years of work experience in Food Services or FMCG sales In-depth understanding of sales and distribution models, especially in food services Proficient knowledge of: Channel partner types and distribution mixes ROI calculations and performance benchmarking Visibility programs and trade health indicators Ability to conduct competitor analysis and market benchmarking Strong skills in customer management, business development, and relationship building Key Competencies Strategic thinking and execution Territory management and market development Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach Effective communication and negotiation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Why Join Us?
