Business Development Executive


Key Responsibilities

:

Lead Generation

  • Identify and target potential B2B clients looking for staff augmentation or IT talent solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads via cold calling, email outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Research and understand client needs, industries, and pain points to tailor proposals effectively.

Client Acquisition

  • Initiate, negotiate, and close new business contracts with potential clients in various industries.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (HR Managers, IT Directors, and C-level Executives) to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct meetings (virtual/in-person) to present our services and understand client requirements.

Sales Process Management

  • Take ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
  • Present customized solutions to clients based on their unique business needs and staff augmentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Keep track of leads, sales, and commissions earned.
  • Regularly report progress to the Sales Manager or Director of Business Development.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings, and revenue.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Suggest and execute strategies to increase market share and client base.

Networking & Partnerships

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to establish relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Leverage existing professional networks to generate new business opportunities.


Skills & Qualifications

:

Experience

  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in B2B sales, preferably in IT staffing, recruitment, or staff augmentation.
  • Experience in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, particularly in IT, technology, and professional services.
  • Knowledge of client needs for both permanent and contract staffing solutions.

Sales Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to present and sell complex staffing solutions to senior executives.
  • Strong closing skills and a results-driven mentality.

Self-Motivation

  • Ability to work independently and drive sales performance without direct supervision.
  • High energy, self-starter with a passion for sales and achieving targets.

Tech-Savvy

  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Comfortable with digital tools for communication, presentations, and data analysis.

Networking

  • A strong network of contacts in the IT and staffing industry is a plus.
