Billing Executive

Job Title: Executive – Billing Location: HCG Hospital, Jaipur Department: Billing Reports To: Billing Manager/Head Operation Experience: 1–5 years in hospital/healthcare billing Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/Finance or relevant field; knowledge of hospital billing software preferred Job Summary: The Executive – Billing is responsible for managing the billing operations efficiently and accurately for both outpatient and inpatient departments. This role ensures timely generation of bills, coordination with internal teams, handling patient queries, and maintaining compliance with hospital policies and statutory norms. Key Responsibilities: Generate and process patient bills (IPD/OPD) in a timely and accurate manner. Verify patient documents, insurance details, and treatment sheets before billing. Coordinate with the nursing, medical, and insurance departments for smooth billing operations. Handle patient queries related to bills and provide necessary clarifications. Ensure all services rendered are properly charged and captured in the system. Follow up on billing discrepancies, rejections, or corrections. Support preauthorization and final billing for insured patients. Maintain and update patient billing records as per hospital standards. Adhere to all billing and financial policies and procedures of the hospital. Generate daily reports and submit them to the concerned authority. Skills Required: Good knowledge of hospital billing process (IPD & OPD). Familiarity with insurance and TPA processes. Proficiency in billing software and MS Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Customer-centric approach with problem-solving attitude.
